Ⅰ. What is a forklift tilt cylinder?
The hydraulic cylinders of the forklift hydraulic system are generally equipped with lifting hydraulic cylinders, tilt hydraulic cylinders, steering hydraulic cylinders, etc. Therefore, the tilt cylinder of the forklift, as the name implies, is installed in the hydraulic cylinder of the forklift hydraulic system. The tilt cylinders of forklifts are all piston-type. There is a oil pipe joint at the front and rear ends of the cylinder. The front end of the tilt cylinder is connected to the outer mast through the piston rod joint, and the rear end is connected to the support seat on the frame. The main accessory structure includes: piston rod, dust ring, special screw plug, Yx-shaped sealing ring, O-ring sealing ring, guide sleeve, cylinder barrel, retaining ring, piston, expansion ring and other forklift accessories.
Ⅱ. dismantling and inspection and repair of major spare parts.
1. Disassembly method:
1) Remove the oil pipe joint, unscrew the pin screw of the tilt hydraulic cylinder, pull out the pin, and take out the forklift hydraulic cylinder from the forklift.
2) Fix the tilt hydraulic cylinder on the bench vise, unscrew the screws, remove the gland, and remove the elastic retaining ring.
3) Pull out the piston rod and accessories from the cylinder through the earrings.
4) Pull out the cotter pin, screw on the nut, and remove the gasket, Yx-shaped sealing ring, support ring, piston, guide sleeve, O-ring sealing ring, etc.
5). Disassemble the thrust washer, loosen the nut, and unscrew the earring.
2. Inspection and repair of main spare parts
1) After disassembling the tilt hydraulic cylinder, the forklift accessories should be carefully cleaned and dried.
2) Check the coaxiality of the forklift piston and the forklift piston rod. Mount the forklift piston rod on the V-shaped frame and check with a dial indicator. If the accuracy of the forklift piston does not meet the accuracy requirements and is out of tolerance, it should be replaced.
3) Check whether the forklift piston feels bent. Check with a V-shaped frame and dial indicator. If bent, it should be corrected and repaired.
4) When the surface of the forklift cylinder is severely worn or scratched, it can be repaired by honing.
5) When the inner hole of the forklift guide tube is severely worn or scratched, it should be replaced.
6) If the leather bowl and forklift sealing ring are worn or broken, they should be replaced. When an O-ring seal is used on the forklift piston, it generally loses its original shape after a few years of use and should be replaced.
7). The matching clearance between the repaired cylinder inner surface and the forklift piston should be 0.04-0.13mm, but the clearance should not be greater than 0.25mm.
8). The gap between the forklift piston rod and the guide sleeve is 0.04-0.15mm. If the gap is greater than 0.45mm, the guide sleeve should be replaced.
